Jordanian Nationality is eligible to apply an E-VISA
As of now, Colombia offers an e-Visa system to allow travelers from certain countries to apply for a visa online. However, Jordanian citizens are not currently eligible for the Colombian e-Visa program.
Documents Required for a Colombia e-Visa (If Available for Jordanian Citizens):
1. Valid Passport
- Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of arrival in Colombia. It must have at least one blank page for visa stamps.
2. Passport-sized Photograph
- A recent digital passport-sized photo (usually 3.5 x 4.5 cm), in color with a white background, and meeting the standard photograph requirements.
3. Flight Itinerary
- Round-trip flight reservation or a ticket that shows your entry and exit dates to and from Colombia.
4. Proof of Accommodation
- Hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a Colombian host (if applicable). The invitation letter should include the host’s name, address, and contact information.
5. Proof of Sufficient Funds
- Recent bank statements (usually for the last 3-6 months) showing that you have enough funds to cover your stay in Colombia.
- You may also provide pay slips or a sponsorship letter if someone else is financially supporting your trip.
6. Visa Fee Payment
- The visa fee, which can typically be paid online via credit card as part of the e-Visa application process.
7. Additional Documents (if applicable)
- Business travelers may need to submit a business invitation letter or documents related to the purpose of the trip.
- For students: Acceptance letter from an educational institution in Colombia.
How to Apply for an e-Visa (If Available):
• Visit the official Colombian government e-Visa portal.
• Fill out the application form with your personal details, travel information, and supporting documents.
• Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
• Pay the visa fee online.
• Wait for your e-Visa to be processed, which usually takes 21 business days.
Once your application is approved, you will receive the e-Visa via email, which you can print and present at the immigration point when you arrive in Colombia.
